A Great Loss...

This past weekend one of my favorite Comedienne's died. Bea Arthur was 86 years old. I have seen every episode of the Golden Girls and could probably re-enact every one if given the opportunity. That show is still one of my favorites, Bea always had the greatest one liners and comebacks especially for her character's husband Stanley and her mother Sophia. The chemistry on that show was one to be reckoned with. Me being a young black female from the PJ's in the South Bronx tuning in to Golden Girls is the equivalent of kids now a days watching BET. It was deeper than what was on the surface, the show was about friendship, family, and the strong special relationships that women share for each other. She will be missed! Thank goodness the DVD's are now available so she will never be forgotten....

Peace,
Taneesha
