The Scientific Breakdown of a Cold.....

Ok.. So I have a cold. Can anyone please explain to me the onesided nostril stuffy one side ok thing? And while you are at it why is it stuffed only when I am laying down but still continues to run??? I don't like to be sick, but the least I can do is entertain myself....
